michael.jarvis Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 I have a Sony VAIO FR130 and I just recently upgraded from Windows XP Home. I had to send the machine back to Sony for a faulty touchpad, and when I recieved it, I had a problem. After reinstalling Win2003, during the install, it said that I was unable to load Windows Installer for Battery. It never did this before, and when I contacted Sony, all that they were able to tell me was that they updated the BIOS, but when I flashed it with the old BIOS, I'm still getting the same error msg after reinstalling. Please someone who knows more than I about this help me. I just bought this stupid notebook, and all it is, is being a major headache.
