When I select Adjust Power Properties

under the Alarms tab

When I select either the "Low battery alarm" or "Critical battery alarm" sliders it immediately jumps to 100%

This is in a vmware machine that I had vmware share the battery information with.

The battery information seems to be being show. It shows when I have it plugged in or not. It also shows the

battery status correctly. It slowly lowers as I expect it to when unplugged. The only problem is the alarms are not setting.

If I use the arrow keys to adjust the slider and click accept I can get it to say something other than 100% but it doesn't really take.
