Win XP Unattended Install IE7? MP11

I am creating Unattended Cds for Installing WIN XP SP2.

I am using the ultimate How-To Guide, Unattended Installation and I have run into another snag.

First of all am I doing this part right? I place all of my service packs into the \i386\svcpack. (With the appropriate switches according to the guide.)

Then add the appropriate entries the SVCPACK.INF file which is also placed into the \i386 folder.

I delete the SVCPACK.IN_ file and that’s it.

Is that part Correct?

Now what I want to do is install Internet Explorer7 and Media Player 11 and then install only the updates which are still current after those upgrades.

I tried to do this with the SVCPACK.INF and SVCPACK folder but it did not work.

I think it is because even though you can select a \passive install with IE7 and MP11 they both still require a reboot in order to be active and then they both have to “Validate”.

I can’t install the hot fixes until they are both installed.

How can I do this, is there another way to run IE7 and MP11?
