blmcamp Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 I have been reading The Definitive How-To Guide Unattended windows installation. the guide seams to mostly deal with a CD install. I want to create a installation that runs form a shared folder on a network server or PC. The network i am building this for is currently still running Windows NT, they dont have plans to upgrade to windows 2003 server till next year. SO, i dont think i can use RIS, Or can I? Mostly what i need to know is this, is there a guide somewhere i can use to set up windows xp to install from a network share? if not, can someone please tell me how you are doing it?thanks for you help.
