walhalla Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 (edited) Hey folks,I'm moving to college soon and wanted to install a fresh copy of Windows XP and Vista on my other hard drive. I already have my music backed up in a hard drive but I was wondering is there a way that i can keep the play count of my current WMP11 library on the fresh copies of Windows XP and/or Vista? Is there any WMP11 file that the info is stored in that I can copy? I often use play count to easily find music that I like best so I'm really keen on keeping them. Also, is the album info embedded in the mp3 files or do I have to do something else to back that up as well? Most simply put...I REALLY want to keep my music library JUST AS IT IS. Can someone please point out what I need to back up other than the mp3 files? All help is much appreciated! Edited August 28, 2007 by walhalla
