Cr4z33
At today there's still no Vista driver for my Epson EPL-5900L laser printer. As I don't want to buy another printer (and maybe get the same problem with future OS!) I was wondering if there was an alternative solution to get my printer working with Vista? Consider that it has a USB/parallel port only so no network card. jackie
i was in the same dilemma as you with my usb wireless adapter from dell they never released any vista drivers for it and they said there will never be a driver for my version of adapter. i was just about ready to buy a new adapter and someone told me to try the xp drivers so i did extract the drivers from installer and did a manual install of just the drivers it's been working ever since with no problem. i think it even works better with vista than it did in xp.good luck
Cr4z33
I already tried a forced installation. The printer is detected, but then it just doesn't print at all.I don't want to spend another $ 200-250 for a new laser printer so I guess it's no Vista until there's a solution. Cr4z33
I think I bought it in 2002, but it works flawlessly on XP.
