windows installation stops at 34 minute remaining

Hi all,

I have an acer travelmate 4050. im having trouble installing windows xp. it always stop at '34 minute remaining' no matter how many times i restart the setup. sometimes it does gets installed incompletely and in the task manager, the process 'system' uses 100% of the processor and i cannot install any drivers for my wireless,chipsets etc. anyone got any idea how to install the drivers even before i install windows?thanks!

p.s. the windows cd is ok as i successfully installed it on another laptop
