Kovensky
I also posted for help upstream, but I still got no answers. The original post is hereThe method to install on the setup files don't work right, because I apply hotfixes during the setup. If I apply the hotfixes using either method (the integrate method automates the svcpack.inf method. If you look on I386, it is the same as if I did the svcpack.inf method), the system files transforming and icons get overwritten and I can't make VTP repair automatically on the first system start. It also don't set desk.cpl to appear on the screen like it does on the normal start OR make Vista the default theme (preferred). So I want a way to either repair VTP SILENTLY on the first start or install VTP (SILENTLY too) on the first system start. What switches must I pass to make the install process silent? And what program must I call to repair VTP?If there isn't any switches, how can I make a script that repairs VTP? The author himself is using a big programmatical hack to do this.VTP, Office 2007 and Visual Studio are the three main reasons why I began researching preinstallation. So unless you can extract the entire set of registry modifications and apply the resource replacement at the right time, you're left with no other alternative.
