disable fullscreen

Hi folks

I Have 2 applications that are giving my gray hair..

1: This application i running on kiosk machines, but i wan't to run it on my laptop and there for would like

it to run in a "windowed" mode insted of blasting to full screen, any surgestions on doing this.

2: This application is running in full maximized mode and the resize/minimized buttons have been gray out

how do i resize this application?
