Unr3a1 Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 I have my laptop dual-booted between Windows XP Pro and Slackware right now. I had to format my Windows partition and for the time being reinstalled XP Pro 32-bit. Now my Linux side has a total of three partions. So including my Windows partition, there are four of them. I inserted my XP Pro disc and deleted the windows partition. When I went to create it again, it came up with an error saying that I had reached the limit of partitions on the hard drive allowed by Windows. My question is this: When I go to install XP Pro x64-bit, am I going to have this same issue? Will the installer only allow up to three partitions on the system? Thanks.
