Anyway to 'preload' the entire document?

I was wondering if there was a way to make your computer preload an entire document, images and all, into your cache so it shows faster on screen while scrolling quickly. The reason for this is im trying to help my step-dad with his new computer, and for his work he oftentimes has to scroll through 50+ page documents giving them a click glancing over, and wants to use the mouse wheel scroll of instead of actually spinning the wheel, you click the wheel then move the mouse below the double arrow sign that shows up. It works to scroll through the document, but since the images and such arent loaded until they've been viewed, they dont show up at ALL when scrolling this way. Is there some way to make it preload the entire document, and just allow it to use the extra resources that it'd take?

P.S. he is running Microsoft Word 2003 on Windows XP professional, if this matters.
