Create Calendar entries

I need about 100 calendar entries (all different)but i dont want to do this manually, searching google i need to create an .ics file to allow users to import this into Outlook themselves......so few a couple of things:

1. Anyone know a free app that allows me to create .ics files?

2. Is there a way to create these entries in Exchange and then get them synched to users calendars?
