Windows XP INstallation problem

Hi,

I am having a machine with 2.0Ghz Processor & 1 GB RAM 80 GB HDD

WIN2000 is already installed.

now I am trying to install Win XP.

I have a Copy of winXP soft that has sp2 included when I enter the CD & boot from it it displays a Blue welcome screen for Setup but everything Runs very-2 slow there it take lot of time while examining Drive & copy the files to disk...when it finishes the file & restart It display "Restarting Computer..." but not restart when I restart it , it again start the same process of setup

Please Help

Try flashing your BIOS. Doesn't hurt having that up to date. Also if you have a different hard drive, I'd recommend trying that as well. Sometimes failing hard drives can really make XP installs a pain.
