display 32 bit

hi in my winnt.sif i have

[Display]

Xresolution = 1280
Yresolution = 1024
BitsPerPel = 32

but i only get 8bit colour wher am i going wrong

At first glance, sounds like a driver problem. Do you have the correct driver for your video card integrated? Without the correct driver, WinXP installation may be defaulting to a generic driver that just provides basic functionality.

cheers that was the awnser thanks again it was driving me nuts as it had been working then i had removed the

OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\

from my wint.sif
