mayhem_1980 Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 (edited) I just installed my pc with raid 5. For my raid drivers to install correct i had to create an unattended install of windows xp x64 with nlite. Now when i want to change the download directory of firefox or utorrent i get this:Below "Choose download folder" there's supposed to be that thing where you can select directories... But i get this grey unused space..In other applications like photoshop, 3dsmax or ms office the file browse window appears correct...Anyone know how to fix this??Cheers! cluberti Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Hmm - that's not the default Windows browse window function, so perhaps something else is not installed correctly? Have you tried a reinstall of Firefox (that looks like a firefox window)?
geezery Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 To resolve the problem, type the following commands in Start, Run dialog:regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dllregsvr32 /i browseui.dll
mayhem_1980 Posted July 10, 2007 Author Posted July 10, 2007 clueberti, indeed it's not the microsoft window... i tried the thing geezery recommended, after that i tried sfc /scannow that seemed to repair some stuff... so i reinstalled utorrent and i still get the window of the image provided...so i thought maybe it has something to do with the .net framework...so i installed that... and still not success....
geezery Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 The method you are trying is called BrowseForFolder. I've had the same problem in the winpe 2.0 when using vbscript. I also found an M$ KB describing the same problem. There was some registry changes, but I couldn't find it anymore.
mayhem_1980 Posted July 10, 2007 Author Posted July 10, 2007 BrowseForFolder eh?Thanks, i think i'll google a bit...
