I wonder if you know about this problem. I recently had to reinstall the ATT Yahoo DSL disk, which I should think has nothing to do with Outlook 2000, yet now I find that all the anchors, (ie the text you click on to activate a URL), have become inactive on all received e-mails in Outlook. Right clicking on the anchors shows the properties dimmed out. I have another e-mail application, ATT Webmail, and there the same incoming e-mails do not have this problem. It is as though Outlook strips off all URLs from the anchors in all received messages. I have formatted the mail as HTML in Outlook, and this allowed me to include an anchor in a message I sent to myself, but on receipt the anchor was inactive, but it was not inactive in Webmail.
