Ok Folks, I've had enough of trying at this. Here is the problem I am having. I have a "Stripped to the Bones Edition SP2" of Windows XP. I'm trying to install my U320 SCSI, and when I put my additional floppy in to specify it's drivers, I just get "Symmpi.sys" (along with the cab and inf) cannot be copied when it starts to copy the files from the disc. I tried a few things. I tried putting these files into the DRIVER.CAB file on my WinXP disc, and nothing. So, I got my legitimate copy of Winxp out, and everything copies fine with it. How can I tweak my Stripped WinXP to work? Is there a location on the disc that has mass storage drivers that needs editing? I'm not really sure what to do. It doesn't make sense to me that a disc would make a difference in copying the same drivers off of a floppy disc. Maybe the floppy is copying it's files to a different cache folder than the WinXP disc is copying it's files to? Hopefully, someone can help.
