That sounds pretty straight forward, you probably have a failing power supply. Most servers have status LEDs on the back of the chassis or front alarm lights to indicate such. I have the oddest DMI message - status keeps changing between lower critical and non crital with "voltage probes" and my dual power supplies are fine. My guess is I am looking at a failing VRM header for one of the redundant CPU's. You ought to just replace your power supply before it dies - my 2 bits
