  1. It is possible to skip the logon screens by editing the OSC files...however, you'd probs need to make some changes server side to allow unauthenticated access to the image.
  2. Using Server 2003 & XP workstations with roaming profiles. Problem is if a user deletes a file from their desktop once they log off and log back on it reappears. It's as though it never gets deleted from the server copy! Any suggestions?
  3. I want to reduce the size of roaming profiles by using folder redirection, however if I do that and a switch gets unplugged / server goes down users are more than likley going to loose the file they're working on. I dont want to use offline files because that requires syncing the whole my documents folder. What I'm really looking for is some sort of app that - when the network connection is lost - simulates the connection being there and allows users to save open documents to a local cache and tells them not to try and open any other files. Then, when the connection is restored, it merges the changes and gives them the OK to keep on working. Does anyone know of an app that does this? Many thanks!
