  1. Hi guys.

I tried searching but to no avail, so sorry if this has been answered and I missed it.

When I got my new PC a couple of years ago I took the advice of a friend and used partitions. I have XP Pro installed on one partition, I installed all of my favourite applications to a seperate partition, and all of my media files are on a different hard drive.

    Hard Drive 1:

C: Windows and a few bits and bobs

    F: Applications and Games

    Hard Drive 2:

E: Media Files, ISOs, Downloads, etc

Recently I've been looking into a slimmer version of XP, customised with nLite to cut down on hard drive bloat and memory hogging. I hear I can reduce installations towards 100mb and use closer to 40mb of RAM than the usual 300mb! My situation is this: I want to reinstall Windows XP, erasing my current C: partition containing my installation. However, when I'm done I'll still have all my programs and games waiting for me on my other partition.

Is there an easy way to get Windows to find and recognise these games and apps without reinstalling them?

Thank you for reading this, even if you can't answer. Sorry if the question isn't clear enough or I haven't included enough information!

    Ben
