"what do you mean by "logging in"? What are you trying to log into?" Im trying to log my second computer to the internet via a router. Ok, I have two Computers. The first computers accepts the network settings automatically. Where the second computer needs to be configured manually. The first computer is fine and logged onto the internet via the router (DYNEX DX-E401). The second computer shows the status of being connected but it only sends and does not receive. What am I doing wrong? All replies are appreciated thanks.

Hello everyone, I am new to networking so please try to help me out! I have recently bought a router which I will be hooking up to a cable connection and network with 2 pc's. The router is a DYNEX DX-E401. I have been successfull in loging in my main PC by having it detect settings automatic. However, my second PC will not automatic detect settings. If I manually enter the IP, Subnet mask and default gateway the second PC connects but still will not log in. It is able to recieve packets but send. Oh one other thing Im able to ping ,yself but not the router. Sonds like a big mess. Help will be extremely appreciated. Thank you in advance.
