so you have a problem two things you could do first: you could creat a shortcut of my documents on your desktop. second: right clic on your desktop, properties. go in the desktop tab, clic on customize desktop and choose the option mydocuments. hope it help B)

Hard isn't it B) anyone know of an action capture software. it would record every thing i do, then put it in a script that you simply need to activate to repeat the same action. this would really help me.

B) i need to automate this: -user creation with their rights, in windows -then i need (something) to open an application, find the right page, then add the user with his right to this application. -all this (if possible) should start when the (something) receive an email with the information about the user and the application he need. so the (something) need to be able to look for email. i don't know how to do this, but if anyone have an idea, please post. thanks. ps: by something y mean a script or software.

i don't know if your solution work, but i found the probleme . the spanning tree was blocking the dhcp, so the client couldn't get is address so no logon. we have set the port on the switch to fast and every thing is working. i use your solution (thanks) and now every thing is fine, but i don't know yet if this registry key is needed or not. any way thank you for your help.

i ask for a similar problem, but now i have more information from my boss. we need to use the autologon feature. but it is to fast. it won't log because it can't reach the domain because the needed services hasn't start yet. i tried a gpo that say wait for the network, and it is not working. so any idea is welcome. thanks

yes it tries but it fail because not all of the services are started yet!!

i have a problem with my event viewer. i've set the security log size to 4gb, and use the option to overwrite as needed. the next day, the oldest log was from yesterday at 16h. but the size of thelog was 500mb and not 4gb. then i set the option to overwrite event older than 7 days. same thing happen. my question is: why are all the log erased instead of being replaced. i try to erase the log file, no difference. any idea... thanks
