  1. thanks, so windows update/automatic updates has a bug? Because as I mentioned office update says that everything is up-to-date. I am doing slipstreaming for not having to install patches aterwards... and it seems that it is not possible. Could you please provide me link etc. to information that "this is standard and expected behaviour."
  2. I have prepared office 2003 install with sp2 integrated: OFFICE2003SP2-KB887616-FULLFILE-ENU.EXE ONENOTE2003SP2-KB887619-FULLFILE-ENU.EXE PROJECT2003SP2-KB887620-FULLFILE-ENU.EXE PTK2003SP2-KB887618-FULLFILE-ENU.EXE VISIO2003SP2-KB887622-FULLFILE-ENU.EXE then, after installing on clean system (vmware) I have executed update at office.microsoft.com just to get know what hotfixes should be applied after sp2, so I get: OFFICE2003-KB905756-FULLFILE-ENU.EXE OFFICE2003-KB907417-FULLFILE-ENU.EXE OFFICE2003-KB913807-FULLFILE-ENU.EXE OFFICE2003-KB914454-FULLFILE-ENU.EXE OFFICE2003PTK-KB913571-FULLFILE-ENU.EXE I have slipstreamed these hotfixes to my office2003 and installed on fresh vmware os. Updating at office.microsoft.com shows that my office installation is up-to-date (as expected), but automatic updates or windows update web page shows that post-sp2 hostfixes (mentioned above) are missing. Why? How can I fix this problem with windows update/automatic updates?
