  1. I've managed to get back Text-2-Speech support again For this I did the following in a cmd prompt: expand P:\AMD64\sapi5.in_ C:\WINDOWS\INF\sapi5.inf expand P:\AMD64\sapi.cp_ C:\WINDOWS\system32\sapi.cpl expand P:\AMD64\sapi.dl_ C:\WINDOWS\system32\sapi.dll expand P:\AMD64\sapisvr.ex_ C:\WINDOWS\system32\DllCache\sapisvr.exe (expand is the program, P: is the path to the original Windows XP x64 Professional CD) Then I right clicked on C:\WINDOWS\INF\sapi5.inf and chose Install, then I entered the path P:\AMD64 and pressed OK. Now it works again Maybe only the first expand is needed, then you can right-click sapi5.inf and choose install, but I did it with all the files and it was a success Now I just need to know what file has to do with the joystick?
  2. Hello everyone I like nLite very much, and the idea that I can remove stuff from Windows that I don't need. The problem for me now, is that I probably removed more than I should have Never thought I would get some use of my old Saitek wheel and pedals (serial gameport), but now I can't seem to use it cause I removed the joystick support from Windows (can't even add something under Game Controllers). Is there some way to add joystick support back to Windows? It's too bad for me if I have to reinstall Windows, as this system is up and running 6+ months with alot of stuff on it. Probably won't reinstall until something serious happends and forces me to do it. If someone knows how I can do this, I would be very happy Regards, suspekt
  3. Hello MSFN forum This is my first post here, and I hope I don't break any rules here now but I searched the forum for this and didn't find any information regarding my problem. I used nLite a while back and created my Windows XP Professional x64 Edition install CD. I removed anything that wasn't needed (foreing languages, exotic drivers), but also I removed gameport and joystick support. I have a fully functional system, and everything is exactly the way I wanted/imagined it to be. Except now... I have found a use for my old Saitek Wheel. If it is possible, I would like to enable this support again in Windows, and maybe also get the default driver back? I have a Saitek R4 Force Wheel (running on gameport) that I want to use. Doesn't matter if I get force feedback to work but just so I can use the pedals and wheel. Thanks in advance, hope there is someone who knows how to do it.
