As title, I am currently use Win server 2003 as my domain DC. I want to open the windows embeded firewall, however, I don't know which ports I must open. If I don't open any ports additionally, computers in my domain cannot login. Does anyone know which ports I must open?

Hi, I have a DNS problem. I saw my server 2003 has a lot of virus this morning. So I repair it with server 2003 CD. Then I reinstalled SP1. But when I finished all this jobs. The DNS server cannot work on my 2003 server. And the event ID is 5781. Thus, all computers in my lab cannot login domain. Moreover, they cannot use my 2003 server as DNS server though the DNS server on server 2003 is already running. I think the problem is the DNS server is not working. When I use server 2003 and I use itself as DNS server and it works fine. But when other computers reference it as their DNS server, it doesn't respond. I don't know how to fix this problem. Here is some messages from dcdiag.exe Can anyone teach me how to solve this problem in details. My IE 7 tabbed browsing malfunction. After I installed the IE 7 beta 2 7.0.5346.5, I've found a big problem. I cannot see any tabs on the browser. I use ctrl-T to create a new tab, then it works. However, there is no icon on the browser. the top part of the browser shows strangely. My IE 7. The picture shows that case. You can see that there is no tab icons on the top part of the browser although I've already create one. I've searched many websites to see if there is any appropriate solutions, but I failed. I disable all additional add-ons, but it doesnot work. I am quite sure that there are definitely tabs there after I create one because when I am going to close the browser, it shows that "you are going to close multiple tabs....." some message like that. Thus, although there is one tab page, I cannot switch to it. Anyone know how to solve this problem? Topic Moved To Right Section --N1K

They are not behind the same router. They are all far between each other. And I use the "mstsc.exe" that is embeded in XP OS. I don't know how to tell the router about connected port. Could you give me more hints? About the firewall-settings, I am quite sure firewalls on B (PC-Cillin firewall and XP embeded firewall) have been closed. I can ping B on A and I can connect to B on A with mstsc.exe. However, B cannot connect to any other places. What might cause the problem? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks for your help!

I have a very strange problem. That is, I have 3 computers at different places. Now I want two of those(A and B) to connect to the same computer C with mstsc.exe. The firewalls of all these computers have been closed. It works fine when I use the computer A connect to C. But when I use computer B connect to C, it shows that "Remote computer is not online" -- typical connection error message. However, I am sure B can connect to C because I can "ping" C in B. Then I use A to connect B, it works fine too. In short, B can be connected, but it can't connect to other computers. I don't know what might cause this problem. By the way, A and C use the same ISP, but not so does B, but I don't think it will cause this problem, does it? I'll appreciate any kinds of help. Thanks a lot.
