  1. Current OS WinXP Pro SP2 all hotfixes and patches Program using: DSLSpeed pc Webhosting 1.0 Im getting this message when I try to run a program which seems to utilize the same port which is already using it "Address already in use". How can I check to see what particular socket this program is trying to use and what seems to be already using it? Then, if it's possible can I un-associate that assignment so the program I want to use can use that socket? Thanks to all in advance! Title edited -- Please, use [TAGS] in your topic's title. --Sonic
  2. Hello all, Recently we modified our images so that automatic updates run without user interaction. The engineer who configured it so that all options are greyed out even for admin. He must've made a registry or system32 change. It turns out the users do need the ability to change at "their" convenience. As in some cases the users have been rebooted and don't have the chance to save what they've been working on. Does anybody know how I can set this back to default and give a "standard" user the ability to do the updates manually? Currently I believe you must be admin. Thanks to all in advance. 3. Good afternoon all, newb here. I have XP Pro on both my office machine and home machine. After I've established VPN connectivity from home I connect RDC to my office pc to work remotely. However, if I disconnect and try reconnecting later, I cannot. The only way I can reconnect is to come into the office and reboot the machine. Then the whole thing starts all over. It only allows me one connection each time. Then doesn't allow me to reconnect until the office pc has been restarted. Is this the MSLicensing key on either machine? Does the store need to be deleted to renew the licensing? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks to all in advance!
