  1. Well I think I have this hurdle overcome....when I booted with one of those All-in-one dvds, I noticed that it identified my NIC as a Lite-on communications compatible pci network card. I then searched for a driver of this description....I found a driver for NetGear-FA310TX. When I went through the Vista install process and used this driver....lo and behold it worked! Hope this may help someone else too....
  2. I have installed Vista build 5342. I am having difficulty getting to recognize my Kingston KNE110TX ethernet card. I've tried the Kingston site and have several versions of the driver (NT, 2000, etc.) and none seem to work. I had no problem with XP or any of the other Windows flavors. Updating hardware on this computer is not an option, if a software solution cannot be found, I will return to XP. Aren't betas great? Any help would be much appreciated....
