Thanx all for the help. You are right. The are 73GB each , It was more a example.. Iám not sure if the drivers are up te date. I am also not sure if the server is using a RAID controller but I don’t thinks so. When I start my server the follow lines are displayt. Adaptec AIC=7890 SCSI Bios v25701 1 xxx 2 xxx 3 xxx 4 xxx Adaptec AIC=7880 SCSI Bios v25701 5 xxx 6 xxx 7 xxx 8 xxx xxx means cdrom/ scsi controller scsi disks etc. How can I check if the drivers are installed correctly. I don’t see an error if I go to the system properties. Maybe it are some stupid questions but I’m really new to SCSI. Thanx again

He, I have formatted my server. There are 3 SCSI harddiscs from 200GB each in my server. I have installed Windows 2003 and formatted them to NTFS. The only strange thing is that the server says that there are 3 SCSI harddiscs from 16,8 GB each. Does anybody know how I can resolve this problem

Hi, I have a laptop, witch runs on XP. I already use it for a wile so there are a lot of configuration and files in mij user profile (desktop, my documents, cookies etc.) the user on my laptop is called "piet janssen". Now I have connected my laptop to a windows2003 server with the domain called "work". On the server I have created an account for my laptop (piet janssen). When I wants to connect with my laptop to this server, the server is making a new user profile. I did not want to lose al my data, so i copyt, the data from: C:\Documents and Settings\piet janssen\ my old profile, To: C:\Documents and Settings\piet janssen.work\ Everything seems to work. Only one big problem happened. If my laptop is at home, and I cannot login in to the WORK domain, I can't connect to the user profile "piet janssen.work", an I have to connect to my old user profile, witch is empty. Is there a way to configure my laptop and/or server, just that he always will always use one user profile. Thanks in advanced. Flip
