Sorry for posting to the wrong group. I did contact Pipex who said they have never heard of this and do not know why it is happening, 1and1 said something very simular and suggest I use the web e-mail service with my account, it also does not happen with this service, but I need to use Outlook, so both less than helpful. People the other end just get a file simply called ".dat" which they are unable to open. The orignal file name is no where to be seen!! Very Strange!!!
