Thanks for your suggestions, had a look already at the MySQL site, but haven't downloaded it yet, looks possibly complicated. Re: MS Accesss - will now have a look at that option. Had anybody got any good/bad experience with using the database within Outlook??

Not entirely sure whether someone can help me in this forum, but I am trying to locate a database program, to keep a database but with a search/filter function in it. I.e. I need to put in 'alot' of data but need to be able to find an entry with the help of a filter. I have used Excel before but didn't like it, nor find it userfriendly for my purpose. I purchased a new computer and for whatever reason whenever I am clicking on any email link (to write an email to that addressee) the email address opens up in OUTLOOK, instead of Outlook Express (NB: I am not using Outlook at all). So I need to then manually copy that email address from Outlook, close Outlook, open up Outlook Express and then paste it into Outlook Express. I searched everywhere to find a facility to change this, but seem to have been unlucky in locating it. Who can help? I bet it's a simply tick/untick somewhere, the big question is only 'where'?
