I have installed ordinary XP many times, no problem, recently purchased MCE(2005) 3 disk set in New York, the disks appear to me to be a bonefied edition. On return to UK I tryed to install on my AMD2600 machine. After format etc Disk 1 goes in ok with supplied product key, then when asked disk 2 starts ok, then after a while, it asks for i386 file from SP2. I put a copy of (Service Pack 2 disk) but it does not take the files from SP2. Have tryed loading i386 onto the other installed HDD and directed Disk 2 to take the files from there, no luck, still wont take all the files. So if I skip i386. Internet Exployer does not work, or anything else connected to the internet like my wireless connection devices. Also on Opening MCE, tells me my Graphics card is not supported. Please can anyone help point me in the right direction to solve this problem.
