Wait for another year, it might be more stable by then! I still use 'IE6' when I have to, 'Opera' and 'FireFox' all the time; their 'leap years' ahead! I have tried 'IE7' a few times since it's so-called final release, and had nothing but problems with it. Don't you know, Microsoft never releases a 'fully-fledged Gold' version, they are always in endless beta's, thats what they use us (the public) for! So wait a while, and wait even longer for a stable Vista!

What is a silent switch, and in what context are we talking here? I have 'StarDownloader' and have used it for several years now. It is the best, far as I am concerned; no broken or corrupted downloads: 99.99% solid! It is a pity the original makers do not show much interest in it any more, because it beats everything else without having to resort to 'whistles and bells' for takeup. What did 'Tina Turner say: "It is simply the best, better than all the rest"!
