well this is my problem FIXED when slipstreaming SP1 into Windows Server 2003 then you'll need to add an extra file to the root of your CD! With all other service pack it adds a Service Pack Identifier file to the root of your CD directory, but SP1 for Windows Server 2003 currently does not do this, u must add WIN51IA.SP1 to the ROOT of the CD so then the disk will not ask u to insert disk cheers for the help guys

Umm.. well making a multiboot dvd with XP, 2k3 and bart PE xp works fine bart PE works fine 2k3 issue on a fresh install: -when installing 2003 server ent corp sp1 from the multi boot dvd it come up with insert disk "service pack 1 CD-ROM" and trys to look for files like NT5.CAT, NT5inf.CAB SP1.cat ect ect these files are already on the disk but it is looking in d:\i386 when the files are in d:\SETUP\Server2003\Enterprise\i386 on a VMware PC - Same thing but asks for notepad.ex_ , SAPI.dl_ ect ect but this time is looks in D:\SETUP\SERVER2003\ENTERPRISE\I386 and the files are in D:\SETUP\Server2003\Enterprise\I386 been at it for a little while now any tips or walkthroughs to double cheek please let me now cheers for ur help

Just tryed to install 2k3 on a pc for testing all of the SP1 files are not were they say they are and instead of the cd looking for then at d:\i386 when they are acually at d:\ssetup\server2003\enterprise\i386 please help

hay dude not sure how you run your network with pc's conected if there all part of a the same build or there all personal laptops ect ect i run a network of about 300 users and 200 pc all built the same way with the same restrictions ect ect if your ghosting the machines the SID ID will saty the same Use Ghost walker or any other program that will change the SID ID Or weather your network is bigger than you can control and people putting jack (personal) machines on your network that there not ment to ect ect tip dude use TCP/IP get rid netbios( it a hassle more than it can help) hope i can help mate

Hi all, Sorry guessed a logon and due to restrictions i am unable to view most web pages (inc ALL EMAIL and MOST GAME SITES ECT ECT) being over seas on deployment and all i work with the computer dudes in the army and trying to make a cd for most of us to use with Multi boot server 2k3 SP1 , Windows XP S2 and a Bart PE disk admin disk now my problem is when i am trying to run "Windows Server 2k3 ENT CORP SP1" with a unattended install about 37min into the install and it asks me insert "Service pack 1" CD ROM becouse these files are missing from the /I386 file -Notepad.ex_ -SAPI.dl_ -CMPROS.dl_ -IEXPLORE.ex_ -C_G18030.dl_ Now when i click browse the file is right there and i click on the file and click next and it works can some one pls tell me why this is doing this does anyone have a solution for this problem so it does not ask me for the file
