So is there a solution to my Firefox tab problem as I mentioned earlier in this thread? Funny it only happens on Firefox only.

I've noticed a bug with Aero Glass when I send an email using Hotmail/Outlook and when the broswer finishes sending the email, the tab will become transparent and looks out of place, and I have provided an image underneath

This is interesting. I guess the tab belongs to Firefox and not to Outlook mail? Do you use custom theme, or theme resource? I see this more as a bug in FF theme but I don't see the way how could it achieve...
I'm not using any themes in Firefox, just the default theme. However, this problem doesn't happen in Chrome or Internet Explorer, only Firefox which is strange.

If you donate and receive the registry key file and therefore activate Aero Glass the popup will be disabled if you guys wanted to know.

How many computers can you use per license with the Aero Glass final? Can you use it on more than one computer for those who donated (Myself included)

Sorry, I'm a bit confused here, I can only see one registry file and thats swatches_hkcu.reg, I clicked on that but I don't see anything coming up on the registry. Isn't there meant to be another registry file where it creates the values in the registry, LoadGlass__AppInit_DLLs? It appears to be absent in this version. Sorry if I sound like a noob, but I'm not too familar with registry files and so on.
Open notepad and paste these lines:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]"LoadAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000001"AppInit_DLLs"="C:\\Windows\\DWM\\DWMGlass.dll""RequireSignedAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000000
(don't forget to change a real AeroGlass folder location (I put it under C:\Windows - don't like many folders in the root directory))
Save it under "AeroGlassReg.reg" name and execute with regedit.exe
After that, open task manager and kill process dwm.exe (it will restart shortly), and you allset

Alright I got the email and I've tried installing it but I'm doing something wrong, what directory do you have to extract all the files too? When I checked the reg file it didn't mention any directory name where I should extract the files.

Alright I just updated my computer with the Windows Updates and restarted my computer and Aero Glass no longer works. I've already tried reinstalling it but nothing happens. Is anybody else having this issue?

So they are bringing back the Start button but that will open the Start Screen/Metro and not the Start menu we all know. Epic fail there from Microsoft. Is it so hard to provide both an option for a start menu and start screen Microsoft?

I heard the Start Button will only bring up Metro/Start Screen, not the classic Start Menu, which is a fail move from Microsoft. Why are they so hesitant and stubborn about this, according to them "nobody uses the Start Menu"... epic fail there Microsoft.

Doesn't work for me either, I even edited the reg file to the correct location and does nothing.

So MS finally increased the price to $199, epic fail. Glad I bought it when it was $40. I don't see how this will increase sales and further rate usage though.

Don't bother, its not worth it. After all the issues I went through I'm back to using Windows 7. Running Windows 8 on a VirtualBox for further testing. It was stupid enough that Microsoft had to get rid of the Start button and other useful features which is enough for you to want to throw your computer out of the window.

Also, don't know if this was suggested, you should add a shortcut in the menu where we can access Metro as well would be a good idea.

Why did Microsoft got rid of Aero in Windows 8? I really liked it, made Windows Vista/7 look prettier, yes I know it reduces performance (Does it?) but why get rid of it? Not liking the default theme of Windows 8, at all.

Yes Windows XP is truly one of the best OS's out there, so many organisations use it even today, my university still uses Windows XP on every single computer. Though I stopped using Windows XP since Windows 7 came out.

Windows ME, Vista and 8 are Microsoft's biggest OS failure, ME especially. 8 may have some potential but I'm not liking what I'm seeing.

I already tried the Omega drivers, they install but does not provide a working display driver.

You guys do realize once you donate and receive the key, copy and paste the key into notepad and name it license.key and place the file into the AeroGlass directory and restart your computer the message box will be gone right? Worked for me.
