Ok so I got a windows xp home edition I know home stinks but the computer was given to me ! But I was searching on the internet (won't tell ya what I was searching for B) ) but I clinked this website and boom! My computer just slowed down to I peace of $hit then it changed my background image to I blue frame and a red window witch read you have spy ware ,spy ware is bad please use a program to get rid of it act.... it installed a program called spy doctor. I know that the hole thing was a big virus so I deleted that program ran spy sweeper,ad-awre, highjack-this and spybot search and destroy and after they all finished I restarted my computer and it was still there! Ah how I hated it I could not change my back ground image or use windows task manager I would press the three buttons but it didn’t work so what I did I deleted the windows user account saved my files and used the guest account and I didn’t have that back ground and I could use windows task manager but what I found was crazy the file svchost.exe was using 60-100 % of my cpu I know what type of file that is and I have never seen it do that’s before I don’t know how to fix it. its makes my computer run slow and ah it drives me crazy please help Brendan Title Edited - Please follow new posting rules from now on. --Zxian
