I'm a newbie and not too techy at that. My new computer with preinstalled WindowsXP Home Edition will not hold desktop with icons. Upon startup or restart the desktop is there for a few seconds then McAffee pops up and then screen goes to blank desktop. The only way I can access programs is through Ctrl/Alt/Delete procedure. Help appreciated.
