RIS is installing the Windows Media Player icon to the desktop despite All Users, Default User, and the specific user's folder having no traces of this icon in there. The RIS image is custom designed, so it is not a base RIS image (it was downloaded, modified, re-uploaded). Is there any setting that I've missed otherwise? Perhaps a one-time-only script could help me get rid of it?

Okay, I have a locked down RIS image that I've riprep'd back to the server. And everything works fine with the exception of a couple of minor details. 1. I need to know how to disable the oobe and then auto logon as a user we already have on the riprep'd image. I need it to skip the entire OOBE screen if possible. 2. Windows is adding icons on the desktop for IE and WMP, I need to disable that. I'm assuming this is part of the user creation function through OOBE and that it just auto puts these files in All Users when adding a new user. Hopefully disabling the OOBE stuff will get rid of this. 3. Need to preserve OEM pre-activation with the image. I did not activate the original RIS image nor is the riprep'd image pre-activated. But I am using a Dell OEM CD as well as using it on a Dell PC and therefore would like to have it skip activation. What files do I need to add/modify for it to auto activate on the PC? 4. Need generic product key for SP2. MS provided on a site a couple of generic product keys to use for OEM Preactivation rather than putting a "real" key in. However, when entering this key into Windows, Windows complained. Is there any updated list of this, or should I just use one of the product keys that we have sitting around to install on all of the machines? Both 3 and 4 are not entirely necessary, but would be icing on the cake. I would prefer to have 1 and 2 fixed though if at all possible. I've tried everything, if anyone can help me with these details that would be great! Thanks.
