Does anyone know of a way to roll out operating systems and applications onto computers with different HALs? For example, how does Dell and Compaq install an OS and all the Apps that come on their systems, I know they don't load them one at a time. Does anyone know how to setup systems like OEM where it can be given to the customer and they have to fill in their information? The biggest problem is the HAL, can it be stripped?
