there is the ability within Visual Studio to generate native programs via a creation time switch.

then please (PLEEEEEAAASE) could XPero recompile it this way and upload it somewhere? It doesn't need to be default part of the pack...

Couldn't find discussions about that (probably I didn't use proper search terms). Anyway there's plenty of tools to make nice and fully functional interfaces without many hassles.

I like wxBasic (wxbasic.sf.net), which has vb-like syntax and it's wxWidget-powered (if u want to have a look, be sure to d/l the bleeding edge flavour) but there are others...

I know that could be anwful request, but, while I want to say I LOVE this shell pack , I'd really be glad if anybody would make a config app for those who don't want to install .NET (as I am...)

I don't know if it would take so much, but once you did it, then there would be no more need for .NET version...
