Alright so I loaded up Beta 2 on my pc.. all drivers have installed and are working properly except for my onboard network card. I have tried using Vista's standard driver as well as the latest driver available (for XP). I am dual booting w/XP and have no problems with my network then. I am using an Abit NF7 2.0 Nforce2 mobo w/ the onboard Nvidia networking controller. I get the same error with both drivers in Vista: The name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name. so is there some service process running that I need to kill in order to install my driver? or am I way off on my guess?

Renaming them to anything. For example, renaming "Internet Explorer" to "sad;lj". I have a client whose kids keep renaming the icons on their windows 98 desktop. I dont want to lock the computer using a program like Clean Slate or Deepfreeze, just disable icon renaming.

I was wondering if there are any registry entries (preferred) or freeware programs out there that would allow me to disable the renaming of desktop icons in windows 98 SE. thx
