  1. The command to show/hide menu is "Enable menu bar" and "Disable menu bar", you can assign it to any button or shortcuts. To put tab bar under address bar, you can simply right click on main toolbar, choose "customize", and drag an address button to main toolbar.
  2. Many thanks! Works like a charm.
  3. Hi I'm using MPlayer 1.0pre8 with my total commander. It always pops up a console window when playing media files. Is there any parameter (switch?) could disable this? Thanks in advance.
  4. No, I think it's just a missed feature of this software. Most fonts have a minimum size at 8pt
  5. OK, here is a question How to make it display font at sizes less than 10pt, or odd sizes such as 11pt, 10.5pt?
  6. 2antzpompeii You're totally welcome. I hope some experts would help you out. PS: Don't forget share your experience here if you made it.
  7. I wish I have a daughter to take care of, hehe Yes, I confirmed. Then XP will be installed on 2nd partition, but in XP it's still called C: Maybe you have to use the way in that M$ article. Sorry I cannot help~
  8. No, no, have you tried my first suggestion - "set D: to active and install WinXP"? PS: Don't do the long quote again
  9. Yes, yes, you're right . Sorry about that. You can put more than one extended partition. That's DOS/WIN98's limitation. However, don't run win98 then, since it might cause some trouble. Just found this, maybe you want try it... On your own risk http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...b;EN-US;Q223188 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/249321/ Something I would say... If you just want to protect boot.ini other than some private data, then I think it's not necessary to do that. I cannot imagine a hacker could break into your system but cannot do anything because failure of reading boot.ini BTW, you probably already know that, drive letter is flexible. It's not like this [multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)] kind of defination and could be different from OS to OS. If I were you, I would do it like this: WinXP (General Use) [Primary] [Extended] - (Data) [Logical] - (Download) [Logical] - (Backup) [Logical] WinXP (Digital Processing) [Primary] [Extended] - (Video) [Logical] - (Photo) [Logical] or maybe this: WinXP (General Use) [Primary] WinXP (Digital Processing) [Primary] [Extended] - (Data) [Logical] - (Download) [Logical] - (Video) [Logical] - (Photo) [Logical] Backup [Primary.Hide] PS: Actually I'm a bit confused what's your main question here Regards, Kevin
  10. 1. I think only one extended partition is allowed. So, you cannot have two extended partition: Partition - 2 and Partition - 4. Why don't you just put them together? You can still delete the "DOWNLOADS" partition anytime you want. I mean like this: Partition - 1 [Primary] Partition - 3 [Primary] Partition - 2 [Extended] - DATA [Logical] - DOWNLOADS [Logical] - VIDEO EDITING [Logical] - PHOTOS [Logical] 2. Encrypt files in C:? NTFS could do that. But I never used that feature (I never need to) 3. I don't quite follow you on the drive letter issue. You want boot.ini in D:? I think set D: to active and install WinXP will do NOTICE: I'm not an expert I hope what I said is right... Plz feel free to ask~
  11. When you install it, choose "install for all users". Then all your configuration files would be in "profiles" folder under opera's directory
  12. right click on taskbar > toolbars > new toolbar... > choose "my computer" and click "OK" Make sure it's at the end of the taskbar, so that there will be a little arrow >> shows up. plz see screenshot http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/1899/untitled3dw.png Hope i didn't misunderstand you
  13. Glad to help Thumbs up for TC
  14. Well, if you don't know how to help and you don't know the answer please refrain from posting..thx First, I want to appologize. It's my mistake that I forgot "F2" is set to "cm_renameonly" in my TC to be consist with windows shortcuts. So, for you, try Shift+F6 please. Also see attachment. Second, according to your picture, you might also need to check "Show parent dir also in root of drive" (located in Configuration dialog > Display), which has the same effect with adding ShowParentDirInRoot=0 to [configuration] section of wincmd.ini Third, I just thought you might also interested in "InplaceRenamePath" in wincmd.ini, see here for details. And at last, don't be so harsh, after all, I'm trying to help. If there is any fault, please point it out.
