  1. Hi,

    I have problem, when I move mouse over any exe file, avi file, mp3 file, it does not display file version, duration, dimensions etc. in tooltip in Explorer

    It just displays Type, Creation Date and Size, but in registry seems averything OK

    In HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile is for example

    InfoTip = prop:FileDescription;Company;FileVersion;Create;Size

    TileInfo = prop:FileDescription;Company;FileVersion

    But FileVersion, Company etc. is not displayed.

    Does anyone know how to fix it?

    Thank you very much

  2. I'll think it might be impossible to do that task if you have disabled those services. Can't you use Winpe for that task, then you wouldn't have any open files.

    I'm backuping when I'm 10 minutes away from computer and I don't want every day go to WinPE or anything else.

  3. See if you can use this script + executable in your project.

    I've tried something similar, but it seems that if I have disabled system restore and indexing service (I made my instalation with nLite) then I can't use VSS.

    - Please re-run VSHADOW.EXE with the /tracing option to get more details

  4. Hi,

    I'm looking for any utility (best free) for Windows XP Professional which can copy open (locked) files.

    Unlocker works perfectly, but I want it for backup of some files and Unlcoker can copy locked files only in GUI interface and unlocking of locked files is not what I want, because It's causing errors.

    Thank you for help

  6. I know, but we live in time where you must filter all the information.

    You can't read everything. You must decide if the page is good for you or not.

    But this time the filter didn't work properly. :)

    But stop this silly messaging.

    I know I made a mistake. :D

    I should read sticky posts better.

    Once more thank you. Maybe I will post my program on this forum.
