After installing Norton Ghost 9.0 (32-bit) on Windows Vista Beta 1 32-bit (5112) I perform the update manually from live-update folder. Norton Ghost refuses to start up and shows the following error: data necessary to complete this operation is not yet available It also says in the systerm tray: Unable to enumerate drives / unable to connect to Agent. Elsewhere on the net Ghost 9.0 is listed as compatible software for 32bit on 32-bit environment. Is there something I need to do to spicifically get Ghost to work? Secondly, I am unable to get Cisco VPN Client to install. It fails to register certain files. Thank you for your replies.

I am installing Windows Vista Beta 1 on a Dell Inspiron Laptop with 1GB RAM and a 3.2GHz P4 CPU. I am installing the OS from the DVD drive. It's taken me about 1 hour to finish the first part of the installationg after which it reboots and goes on to the screen that everyone is talking about: Completing Installation... Do not restart your computer at this time The progress bar moves quickly towards the end and then keeps looping. After waiting for about 20 minutes I restarted and then went ahead and reformatted to start from scratch. I wish I had read this thread earlier and saved myself an hour 20 minutes by keeping my patience. Has anyone figured out what is going on at this point? Is this a flaw in the progress bar or its representation?
