Hi , I'm facing a problem with my Windows XP Pro SP2 Automatic Update , I was downloading Automatically some Updates then after finishing the Downloading I run the update manually by clicking the icon ( Yellow sheild ) and choose Manual Install. The following Update packs where included : 1 - Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1 2- Update for Windows XP ( KB898461) I choosed Install , but in the middle of the installation I lost the power Now Its showing Me when ever I shutdown the PC ( Installing Update 1 of 2 , Please wait and don't turn off the PC ) . Actually its not doing anyting and its just frozen on that screen and no activity. The only way to shutdown my PC is to hold the power switch for 5 sec. to turn it OFF. Please help me , maybe its just a registry settings I should clear or its files I should delete and then it should re-download the defected files again and so on.
