Anybody using sms 2.0 ? help me out. I installed sms 2 on w2k server, then trying to install sms agent on xp pro. The problem is that sms console just created shared folder named sms when the client actually find msi in smsclient shared folder( I see it in the sms log in xp) I manually created smsclient and everything is OK, but automatic is what it should be. your ideas ?

Here is my case: I installed ghost console on W2K server, and ghost client on XP Pro. Things goes well till I reinstall server, right then, the client is orphaned(the client icon disappear from right corner of XP screen ), So How can I tell the client to find his new server(the console) without reinstalling client Thanks you all ! symantec ghost 8.0

I am quite new to server2k,and so to software deployment, so can any tell me the difference between using administrative install from workstation to create msi packages and using sth like wininstall to create msi package ??? Thanks a lot
