I have Windows 2000 Pro with Service Pack 2. I did not archive the needed files to uninstall, and now I want Service Pack 4. I will archive the files to uninstall Service Pack 4, if need be; however, will installing Service Pack 4 be problematic since I can't uninstall Service Pack 2. The reason I need to do this is because I'm trying to install some drivers/software for my RCA mp3 player, but it states I need Windows updates to proceed. I went to windowsupdates.microsoft.com and got all of the updates, except for the Service 4 install update. I tried to install the software and drivers again, but I get the same error message stating to get windows updates, so I'm hoping Service Pack 4 will solve my issues.
