Not too hot on my computing, and not even sure if in the right discussion group (serves me right for doing a history degree!) I have written a document in Microsoft Works Word Processor and it is a wps file. I have been trying to send it to various people in an email as an attachment but they are having problems recieving it- they need it in .doc format, or at least so they can open it in Word. I know how to change the format (saving it under a new name and changing the 'save as type' to doc, but for some reason it still wont work. Am I doing something inherently wrong? Any other advice apart from having to buy Microsoft Word (not Works!). Any help much appreciated! Thankyou!
