[Unable to access recovery partion]

i tried removing all partitions except the recovery one and that did not work.

after further investigation it seems that it uses something called pc angel to access this partion. have been tring to find out more about this program but their support site wont let me login/register. if anyone knows how this works please tell

I have an ei systems pc running windows xp media center. i deleted and repartitioned the c: drive, leaving the recovery partition intact.

now i cant get the recovery to see it. i guess i have deleted the bit that makes it look for the recovery partition when f10 is pressed on boot up.

any suggestions would be welcome. i have an ordinary xp cd or bart pe if tats a help, but i need media center installed.

[need to start vpn program before logon screen]

I need to be able to start sonic global vpn client before i log on so that i can be authorised on the remote domain to access shared folders. I think this needs to happen after the network has initialised. there is a command line option to start the program.

any ideas are welcome.

[tried network install of windows xp booted from bartpe disk]

i have been trying to get an unattend install across a network. the way i do it is to run a batch programme that copies the source directory to the disk you are trying to install it on and then runs the install and will when i have finished delete it. there is also an option under winnt32 called /makelocalsource, i have not tried this however.
