Hi There, For some odd reason, I can no longer read my dos-floppies on booting. Goes like this: I always get the message: "Can't load BDos kernel file: A:\IBMDos.com. System halted". Just before I updated my Anti-Vir, the W32/Nsag.B got into my coputer. No program whatsoever can completely remove it. Even not Hijack this. The virus is not working anymore, but is still detected, as W32\Nsag.B, and by another program as Beagle (or something like that). The SPGuard, nor ShudderLTD, that came with it can't be removed by regedit ("Windows is using it"). No problem, I thought, I have a very fresh HDD-Nero-BackUp. Just put in any installation disk (Win98) and go to the CDRom and type: nrestore.exe. Or put in the rescuedisks of Partition magic, format C: and go to nRestore.exe. I did it for years now. Easy and great! Now, my PC seems to be 'Dos-blind', except in the dos-prompt, while running Win2K. But then: HDD-backup can go on, while the system is still running There seems to be no virusscan in the boot-system. I have an Asus K8N4-E Deluxe with build-in virusprotection NVIDIA, which can't be immobolised in the bios. It's simply not there in that bios. My daugther has the same nLite version Win2K been installed by me on here PC, and here: everything goes well. Here PC is a lot older. I'm a format C: - freak who is totally immobilized. Heeeelp, please.
