i have just purchased a machine from Novatech, it had a foxconn 6497mb mobo, i am trying to install sis964 raid drivers whilst doing a fresh install of xp i start install, press f6, then press s to say i want to add raid drivers, it carries on reading from the floppy disc, then i come to the partitioning bit and that goes fine, then i get a message saying "setup cannot copy the file sisraid.sys", if i skip this it then says it cannot find the other 5 or so files on the floppy disc, this in turn meand that xp will not install. i have tried copying the files from the mobo setup disc but i get a message saying "cannot find oem text file" i have read numerous things on forums but nothing seems simple and nothing is working, please can somebody help me as this is now becoming rather frustrating cheers
